License Information

Sage Seeds is a fully licensed adult-use cannabis dispensary in Bellerose, Queens. We believe customers deserve to know exactly who they are buying from, so here are our license details and how you can confirm them yourself.

Our license

Sage Seeds operates under New York State Adult-Use Retail License OCM-RETL-24-000004, issued by the New York Office of Cannabis Management (OCM). The OCM is the state agency that regulates the legal cannabis market in New York, from cultivation through retail sale.

What this license authorizes

This license authorizes Sage Seeds to sell regulated adult-use cannabis products to adults 21 and older from our store at 248-15 Union Turnpike, and to deliver to eligible customers within our service area. Operating under this license means we follow New York's rules on purchase limits, packaging, labeling, advertising, and age verification.

Lab-tested, regulated product

Everything we sell is legal, regulated cannabis that has moved through New York's licensed supply chain and been lab-tested for safety. Products are tracked, packaged, and labeled to state standards. That is the difference between buying from a licensed dispensary like Sage Seeds and buying from an unlicensed seller, where there is no testing, no accountability, and no recourse.

How to verify a New York cannabis license

You do not have to take our word for it. The Office of Cannabis Management maintains tools so the public can confirm that a retailer is legitimate:

  • Visit the official OCM website at cannabis.ny.gov
  • Use the OCM Dispensary Verification tool, which lets you check whether a shop is a licensed adult-use retailer
  • Confirm a business name and license number against the OCM's list of licensed retailers

If a shop cannot show a valid OCM license or does not appear in these tools, it is not a legal New York dispensary.
