Cannabis Strain Library: Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid Guides from Sage Seeds Bellerose

The Sage Seeds strain library covers the cultivars our customers ask about most often, written from the perspective of a New York licensed dispensary that has actually carried, sold, smelled, and tasted the flower in question. Every strain page includes the lineage, the typical cannabinoid range, the dominant terpenes you should see on the certificate of analysis, the effects most regular shoppers report, the formats it shows up in (flower, pre-roll, vape, concentrate), and the Bellerose-area situations the budtender team most often recommends it for. This is a shopping resource, not a medical guide. Strains are matched to outcomes the same way wine is matched to meals: with confidence, but with respect for the fact that every nose is different.

How to use a strain page

Each guide is structured to answer the questions an adult shopper actually asks: what does it taste like, what does it feel like, what dose makes sense, what brand on the Sage Seeds shelf carries it, and what to ask the budtender at the counter. We also call out which strains are commonly sold in pre-rolls, which appear most in vapes, and which are the rare ones our buyers ask the licensed New York cultivators to keep in rotation.

Why strain names alone are not enough

Two flower jars with the same strain name can produce different experiences if the cultivator is different, the harvest is different, or the curing is different. That is why the Sage Seeds shelf identifies the cultivator, the lab-test batch, and the harvest date for every product, and why our budtenders will always tell you which version of a strain is currently in stock and how it differs from the last batch. Strain identity is the start of the conversation, not the end. The Learn library goes deeper on terpenes, cannabinoids, and how to read a COA.
