How Sage Seeds delivery works
- Order online at the Cannabis Menu. Build your cart, hit checkout, choose Delivery, enter your address.
- Verify your age with your government ID upload. The same ID must be at the door.
- Pay using digital bank transfer through our checkout, or select cash on delivery (exact change). Federal banking restrictions still prevent us from processing major credit cards.
- Track your delivery in your account. The Bellerose dispatch center routes orders by ZIP cluster.
- Receive at the door. Show your ID; the driver will verify name and age before handoff.
What you can order for delivery
The full Sage Seeds menu is available for delivery: flower (indica, sativa, hybrid), pre-rolls (singles, multi-packs, infused), vapes (live resin, live rosin, distillate, disposables, pods), edibles (gummies, chocolates, drinks, low-dose 5 mg), concentrates (live rosin, hash rosin, badder, budder), tinctures, topicals, CBD-only products, and accessories. Delivery rules every customer needs to know
- You must be 21+ with a valid government ID. The customer who placed the order must be the one at the door.
- Address must be a private residence. No commercial addresses, no dormitories, no federal property (including post offices and federal buildings).
- Single-transaction limits: three ounces of cannabis flower or 24 grams of concentrates per state law.
- Payment: digital bank transfer through checkout or exact cash on delivery. Credit cards cannot be processed due to federal banking rules.
- No state-line crossing: federal law prohibits transporting cannabis across state lines, including to and from New Jersey or Connecticut.
- No driver tips required, but they are appreciated and accepted in cash.

Why we are the closest legal delivery for most of Long Island
Nassau County opted out of cannabis dispensary retail under the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act, so no licensed storefront operates anywhere inside Nassau. Most Suffolk towns made the same call. That leaves licensed Queens dispensaries as the lawful supply for the entire western Long Island corridor. Sage Seeds is the first licensed dispensary east of the Cross Island Parkway, which means we are geographically closer to most of western Nassau than any other operator.
Our delivery rotation is built around that geography. We bundle Nassau and Suffolk routes by ZIP, leave Bellerose with multiple orders per run, and prioritize members and event-night customers in the Queens local zone for tight windows.
Delivery FAQ {#delivery-faq}
Does Sage Seeds deliver to Garden City? Yes. Garden City (11530) is in the Nassau extended zone with a $100 minimum. Same-day windows are typical. See the Garden City delivery page.
Is there a delivery fee? A small flat delivery fee applies per order. The exact amount displays at checkout once your address is entered.
How fast is same-day delivery? In the Queens local zone, most orders are delivered within 1-3 hours of confirmation. In the Nassau and Suffolk extended zone, 2-5 hours is typical, depending on order time and route load.
Can I tip the driver? Tips are not required and are not added at checkout. Cash tips at the door are appreciated.
Can I have someone else accept my order? No. The customer who placed the order must be the person at the door with the matching valid 21+ government ID.
Can I get cannabis delivered to a hotel? No. NYS rules require a private residential address. Hotels and other commercial addresses are not eligible.
Can I pay with a credit card? Not currently. Federal banking restrictions prevent dispensary credit card processing. Digital bank transfer through our checkout or exact cash at the door are the supported methods.
How late do you deliver? Cutoffs depend on day and zone. Same-day delivery cutoffs are listed at checkout once your address is entered. The Bellerose dispatch center generally extends delivery hours past in-store closing.
Do you deliver to Suffolk? Yes, into Melville, Huntington, and Dix Hills. $100 minimum.
Is it legal to have weed delivered in Long Island? Yes, when delivered by a NYS-licensed dispensary like Sage Seeds. Unlicensed delivery brands are not legal regardless of marketing language. Verify any brand at the official OCM dispensary verification tool.
